When we look back at when we were given a due date of October 24th, my first thought was "It'll be October 10, 2010, 10/10/10." Of course the doctor's response was "WOW we would love to see you make it to 10/10/10" So we have been just waiting, like most pregnant women. Then about 2 months ago, they decided that I needed to start taking things easy as I was showing signs of preterm labor. The next day they called back with results of a test to tell me to take things VERY easy and thus began the non strict bed rest. Each week returning to see if things had progressed any further. I must thank everyone that has been praying for me and the baby, God is GOOD!!! We have now made it to 37 weeks and of course NOW the contractions are starting to increase in intensity and frequency.

Labor Day weekend

I know I told myself I would try to keep this UP to date!!! of course I have no excuse as I've been on bed rest for weeks now!! But we have been busy and it will be a few post before we're back up to speed.
Last weekend was Labor Day weekend, which over the past three years has been cramped with tons to do!! First we had Sunman Idol Semi Finals.... Where Craig sang Someone Else's Star by Brian White. For as long as I've known of Brian White I have thought Craig sounds JUST like him, so I don't mind listening to country music if it's a Brian White song!

Craig made it through to the finals where he sang the Josh Grobin version of You Raise me up. I unfortunately had my finger on the record button so it is in two parts :(

Preschool

Issac was ready to start his first day of preschool... Waking up everyday asking "Mom is TODAY monday???" and finally it arrived!

Upon arrival he was thrilled to see his best bud Jaxon. Mom can't wait to hear about the stories that Mrs. Stone will be sharing about the adventures of Jaxon and Issac over the next 9 months!!! These two are characters and make me laugh!!

So far Issac has been enjoying his class, his teachers Mrs Stone and Mrs. Poundstone. I wish them all the luck in the world as they embark on this adventure with a great group of three year olds!!

Starting over..

Now that it's been nearly 2 years since I last blogged... I thought I'd at least give it a go on our family site, especially now that our family will soon be expanding!!!

Issac is getting excited about meeting his baby brother! Expected 10/24/10

We were able to surprise most of our family at Issac's third birthday, as everyone applauded my mother said "Are you Pregnant?!?!"....

Through most of the pregnancy we have not had many issues until about 27 weeks, when I was dilated 1 cm... This lead to the beginning of restrictions, take it easy, no lifting, stairs, walking and found a new one no singing. Now we are at 32 weeks and since a week after the restrictions began I am no longer dilated!!! Prayer, resting and relaxing have all played a huge part in that!

We're starting to realize that he could be arriving at anytime now!!! Just last night we discussed that this was about the time when I was prego with Issac that I went into labor!!! We have gotten most everything ready for his arrival. Thanks to great friends we have a bed, dresser and changing table!! (I'm sure Craig's disappointed that I wont be sending him to IKEA to get furniture now!!) I was able to get a great deal on a new stroller/car seat combo, now we just need to get the seat into the car! I have my toiletry bag packed, still haven't got my hospital bag ready, that will be a project for this coming weekend! I have a few things set out to take for the baby... now the biggest question is what are we going to do with Issac???

This is a difficult one for us, since he will not be allowed at the hospital. He has spent the night with his grandparents a few times over the last year, but never DAYS away from mom.... I don't know who it will be harder on him or me and I guess dad's going to be busy running between us :(

Well I have been blogging on my own for awhile about my little addiction so I thought it'd be good for me to blog about my fam, since we're out of touch with our family a bit. My purpose here is to update everyone with wonderful pictures of Issac and maybe a few here and there of us.
At this time Issac is 20 months and growing and changing so much everyday! He has been expanding his vocabulary on what seems to be a daily basis. His favorites are dog, ball, more, bath... I could go ON and on.... but I want to get to pics so this is just the beginning!!!!
