Fun Fall time with Friends

We got to watch my friends kids over the weekend.  Fortunately 2 of hers are close in age to my two and her oldest just played right along!!

 Wonder if we'll be sharing this one at their wedding some day....

Unusual

This is my boys favorite song. It makes me cry happy tears to know my kids want to be the zebras in this world full of gray elephants and donkeys.

Been too long

Been a bit busy for the past few years and need to return to sharing thoughts and ideas before the boys are grown and gone.
God has been putting things on my heart that I just need to get out. Bear with me and enjoy.

So it's been nearly 2 years since I lasted posted to the blog.... YES 2 boys have been keeping me more than busy, mostly just distracted (ok Pinterest may also be to blame)!!! Aaron is almost 2 and Issac just began a new adventure at KINDERGARTEN.  We have added 2 nephews to the family that we all love and miss!

Here's a view of the last time I was able to get the boys together for a photo shot so glad they finally decided to smile!!

The time is soon...

When we look back at when we were given a due date of October 24th, my first thought was "It'll be October 10, 2010, 10/10/10."  Of course the doctor's response was "WOW we would love to see you make it to 10/10/10"  So we have been just waiting, like most pregnant women.  Then about 2 months ago, they decided that I needed to start taking things easy as I was showing signs of preterm labor.  The next day they called back with results of a test to tell me to take things VERY easy and thus began the non strict bed rest.  Each week returning to see if things had progressed any further.  I must thank everyone that has been praying for me and the baby, God is GOOD!!! We have now made it to 37 weeks and of course NOW the contractions are starting to increase in intensity and frequency.  

Labor Day weekend

I know I told myself I would try to keep this UP to date!!! of course I have no excuse as I've been on bed rest for weeks now!! But we have been busy and it will be a few post before we're back up to speed.
Last weekend was Labor Day weekend, which over the past three years has been cramped with tons to do!! First we had Sunman Idol Semi Finals.... Where Craig sang Someone Else's Star by Brian White.   For as long as I've known of Brian White I have thought Craig sounds JUST like him, so I don't mind listening to country music if it's a Brian White song!

 

Craig made it through to the finals where he sang the Josh Grobin version of You Raise me up.  I unfortunately had my finger on the record button so it is in two parts :(
